About Mark Selby

Mark Selby was born on 19 June 1983 in Leicester. His nickname is ‘The Jester from Leicester’. He is an English professional Snooker Player. Selby showed potential as a teenager, originally starting out playing Pool and then moving to Snooker. He reached his first ranking final aged 19, the Regal Scottish in 2003. Before that, he had already reached the semi-finals of the 2002 China Open. Selby has come a long way since then. Mark Selby has won the World Snooker Championship 4 times and has been the No.1 player in the world… (read more)
